How we counted

  • The sample is the public YouTube ASMR videos listed on Tingly Room (1,331 videos, 48 channels), not all of YouTube. Our team chooses the channels. Age-restricted and made-for-kids videos are left out.
  • Triggers, voices, formats, pace and purpose are Tingly Room's own tags. An AI model sets them by analyzing each video's title, description and short extracts, and rules then check the result. This is our classification, not YouTube data.
  • Lengths come from YouTube. A video counts once per tag, and most carry several, so shares add up to more than 100%.
  • The page recalculates whenever the catalog changes, so quote the date shown at the top.
