About Mouth Sounds ASMR
Mouth sounds are made with the tongue, lips and teeth close to a sensitive mic: clicks, pops, tk tk and sk sk, gentle smacks, and the oddly named ear eating, which is simply wet mouth sounds placed very near the mic's ears. Many are recorded binaurally, so they jump from one side of your head to the other.
Of all triggers, this is the one most likely to split a room. Some people get their strongest tingles from it; others can't stand it. If you're curious, start with dry, crisp sounds like tk tk before trying wetter ones, and keep the volume low. Mouth sounds also turn up in many whispering and trigger word videos.
